Bishop Eugene V. Reeves

Anointed is just one word that describes the ministry and calling of Bishop Eugene Reeves. He is a spiritual general in the Body of Christ and a force to be reckoned with in the Kingdom of God. He is a leader of leaders and has a special anointing to train and develop men and women for Christian service. Unwavering in his commitment to biblical standards and Godliness, he is passionate about seeing people saved, healed, delivered and set free. Under his counsel and influence many marriages have been restored, families have been made whole and adults and youth alike have become strong disciples of Jesus Christ.

A dynamic preacher, insightful teacher and visionary, Bishop Reeves is the founder of New Life Anointed Ministries International, where he serves as the overseeing bishop. He is also the founder and CEO of the Genesis Business Development Corporation and the Restoring Lives Community Development Corporation formed to empower residents of Prince William County, Virginia by providing education and opportunities for community enhancement. Through his leadership and life changing messages, many pastors, business owners, community and political leaders have been inspired and directed to the Cross of Jesus Christ. The Kingdom of God’s agenda has been advanced because of his unwavering faith in God.

Bishop Reeves is a native of Forrest City, Arkansas. He is a graduate of several educational institutions; including the University of Southern Arkansas, Arkansas Baptist College, Andersonville Baptist Seminary and St. Thomas Christian University & Seminary. He holds multiple degrees including an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Science, a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Master of Arts in Counseling, a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry degree.

Bishop Reeves grew up serving at the Salem Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. James A. Toney. In 1976, he officially accepted his call to the ministry at the Bibleway Church of God in Christ (COGIC), where he was licensed in 1978. He was ordained as an Elder by Bishop D. L. Lindsey and became assistant pastor in 1980, as well as and superintendent of Rochester Roger of Bibleway Church of God in Christ located in North Little Rock Arkansas. He then served as an Assistant Pastor at First Church of God in Christ in Killeen, Texas and later pastored in Fulda, West Germany. He founded and established the New Life Anointed Christian Center of Woodbridge, Virginia in January 1993. It later became known as New Life Anointed Ministries International and is now known as The Life Church.
He was consecrated as Bishop in September 2001 and later received official Apostolic Succession in the International Community of Christian Churches (ICCC) under Archbishop Van Gayton. Bishop Reeves currently serves as the presiding prelate of the Eagles Rock Communion of Christian Leaders, a communion of pastors, business leaders, community leaders, and entrepreneurs. Their vision is β€œto occupy until He (Jesus) comes.”

Bishop Reeves provides spiritual covering, mentoring and training for over 300 churches and pastors around the globe to include churches in Colorado, Arkansas, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Texas, New York, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia. Additionally, he provides oversight for churches in the Netherlands, England, Germany, Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, Rwanda, Congo, Guyana and Panama. He has spoken and conducted pastoral training in Europe, Africa, North America, South America and Central America.

Bishop Reeves is married to Evangelist Ollie Reeves, better known as “Lady O”. They have two adult children, Latashia and Demetrius, five grandsons, Jacob II, Joshua, Decavien, Deshaun and Demetrius Jr., and one granddaughter, McKynzie.
Bishop Reeves is a husband, father, grandfather, pastor, entrepreneur, visionary and community leader. Because of Jesus Christ, passion and compassion flows through his life. He has impacted and still influences the lives of thousands of people around the globe. He is a true gift to the Body of Christ and maintains his strong and motivating testimony that he, “just loves the Lord.”
